Who We Are at My Baja Insurance
Our agency is led by Citlalitl “Cindy” Pereda, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the Universidad Autonoma de Baja California (UABC) and a licensed insurance broker with more than 10 years of experience in the Mexican insurance market. Together with a team that brings over 30 years of combined experience, Cindy and her staff work directly with major carriers, including Qualitas, AXA, and Zurich, to match clients with coverage that fits their needs and budget.
My Baja Insurance is authorized by the CNSF (Comisión Nacional de Seguros y Fianzas), license V360255. The CNSF is the federal agency that supervises insurance companies and agents in Mexico; you can read more about its role at gob.mx/cnsf.

How Working With Us Works
1. Tell us what you need to insure. Call, message, or stop by the office with a few details about your vehicle, home, or rental, and how you plan to use it.
2. Compare your options. We review coverage from our partner carriers side by side and explain the differences in limits, deductibles, and exclusions, so there are no surprises later. All prices and coverage limits we quote are in US dollars (USD).
3. Get covered. Once you choose a policy, we take care of the paperwork and make sure you have your policy documents before you need them, whether that’s before you cross the border or before you close on a home.
4. Stay in touch. When it’s time to renew, add a vehicle, or update your coverage after a move, you come back to the same local team that set up your policy.
